The
S.A.Q. is my 3rd Noise tune with the D.A.M.I.A.N. machine and my 2nd
Noise tune with the D.A.M.I.A.N. P.R.O.B.E. (Pulsating
Ravaging Orb Blasting Earthlings) Joystick Controller. This is one of my quieter noise tracks with minor amounts of chaos, here and there.
Until the very end as is my trademark with Noise tracks,
where things pick up for a final kickoff! ![]() ![]() The Quadraxii Joystick Controller is still in development, currently at it's 2nd version, with a single handed dual joystick controller. In this tune, 3 of it's axii were used for controlling the pitch of 3 Voltage Controlled Oscillators while another was used for controlling the Cutoff Frequency of 1 of the 2 Low Pass Filters that were used. 2 of the other axii each controlled the output levels of their own Low Frequency Oscillators, that were used for controlling the pitch of the 2 of the VCOs. The Pitch Shift and both Delays in the 2020 Player, the delay settings on the M300 and the delay time on the Kaos Pad, were all controlled live as well. Oh yeah!
Whilst I think of it - a live video of the recording, is
available upon request!
(Lawrd only knows how BIG it'll be. It was shot at
30fps / 720x480). ![]()

by the then recent hit from Dead Or Alive - "You Spin Me Round".
I lost interest in this one fairly quickly though.![]() |

Industrial | Roland Jupiter 6 synthesizer, JX-10 synthesizer; Ensoniq EPS sampler; Kawai K1m additive synthesis synth.; Alesis HR-16 drum machine, MIDIverb | This was my first complete tune in
a Time Signature OTHER than 4/4. ![]()
5/4
I thought to be an interesting Time Signature and I gave it a whack.
I STILL don't much like the tune but ..... ![]()
It's still part
of my music writing history. |

McKinnon and I, neither being fans of Disco from the 70's at this time,
decided to write a protest tune, in that fashion.

Electro-pop | Roland Jupiter 6, JX-10; Ensoniq EPS sampler; Kawai K1m synth; Alesis HR-16 drum machine, MIDIverb | This
tune was originally written by myself and Rick Crilly in about 1983.
(Rick was the 1985 World Powerlifting Champion; currently an
author in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have a few other tunes written
with him, that'll be coming up. I never did find the vocal version though, when I was converting all of my tunes from cassette tapes, to CD. Don't Tax The Dancing was written for fun, poking fun at the Government at the time. We DID also appear on a local Winnipeg TV station show named 'Alternative Rockstand', as the band "Members of Parliament". ![]() |

| 65 | Generic Love Song (Vocals missing) |
Contemporary rock | Roland Jupiter 6, JX-10; Ensoniq EPS sampler; Kawai K1m synth; Alesis HR-16 drum machine, MIDIverb | At
the time that I wrote this tune, I was tired of hearing the love songs
that everyone was putting out, usually finding them to be similar to a
Harlequin Romance novel or something of that type. The lyrics I wrote spoke of a chap 'looking for love'. In finding none, off he went to a robot-lover shop, buying the cheapest model he could. To cut the story short - to his lament, when he awoke the following morning, the robot had passed away, due to rust. I don't have the vocal version, though I may redo it later. ![]() |

Industrial | Roland Jupiter 6, JX-10; Ensoniq EPS sampler; Kawai K1m synth; Alesis HR-16 drum machine, MIDIverb | Having seen way too many Tele-vangelists on the TV for many years, I finally decided to vent my hostilities in a tune. This deep and tearing rant rips into those bastards who continually preyed on the gullible within our TV societies. | 5605kB | 0488 |

thought it were time to update this lil' tune that I considered a
'Classic of my own!' ROFL! ![]() I was STILL tired of rock'n'roll bands prancing about and all of the stardom with their guitars. LOL |

| 68 | 49 | Progressive Rock | Roland Jupiter 6, JX-10; Ensoniq EPS sampler; Kawai K1m synth; Alesis HR-16 drum machine, MIDIverb | This
was my very first tune that I recall writing, with more than 1 time
signature. The Intro and verses in it are in the 4/4 Time
Signature (a count of 1, 2, 3, 4 - as per normal) and the Chorus is in
9/4 (a count of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) Over the years since, I've enjoy kreating tunes entirely in another Time Signature or were mixtures of different ones. |

Electro-pop | Casio CZ-101 Phase Distortion Synthesis synth.; Korg Poly 800 synthesizer; Yamaha DX-21 FM synthesis synth. | This is one of the ONLY 2 tunes
that I have archived, on which I had used the Casio CZ-101 synthesizer
on.
I wish I still had one. ![]() In this tune, I used it for the drum sounds and bassline. A wonderful machine capable of 4 mono sounds at once! |

playing around my 4 track cassette recorder, taping things from TV, I
thought I'd include some of it into a tune. (Also done with
the
other song Happy Catastrophe.) This one were more for the fun
than anything. Surprisingly it went over very well with
friends!
